Venture to Alexandria Virginia and you may be in awe of the history in the town, the brick paved streets, but you may walk right by the 325 square foot home with frontage of only 7 feet. The home, built by John Hollensbury in 1830 has it's own strange history. Called the "Spite Home", it was built to keep loiterers and horse-drawn carriages out of the alley.
